On October 30, Mann appeared outside the Oprah Show studio offering free hugs to the waiting crowd. Oprah's camera crew caught sight of people on line hugging and invited him to be on her show with his friend, Shimon Moore, one of the members of the Sick Puppies band who plays in the video.
